Travel is self care! It has enabled me to continuously rediscover myself and find new ways to love. I started Nimetosha, a Kiswahili word meaning “I am Enough”, as an effort to showcase that even in a larger body, travel is very much possible and accessible. For me, connecting with other travelers, and more importantly engaging with community members of the various locations I’ve traveled, awakened a desire to curate unique experiences that have everyone in mind. 

All I’ve ever wanted the world to show me is someone fat and Black like me, traveling the world and having experiences that didn’t “other” them. As I continue to travel, my experiences remain largely the same, so I’m seeking to change the experiences of travelers that will come after me. I’m dedicated to making travel accessible to everyBODY. As a result, Nimetosha Travel Advisors is that brainchild.
