Our Story
Travel is self-care. It has allowed me to rediscover myself over and over again – to embrace new perspectives, deepen my connection with the world, and find new ways to love. Love for the places I visit, the people I meet, and most importantly, for myself.
I started Nimetosha, a Kiswahili word meaning “I am Enough,” because I wanted to see someone like me, fat, Black, and unapologetically exploring the world, without being othered. But that representation was missing. So, I became it.
Through my travels, I’ve witnessed both the beauty and the barriers that exist in the travel industry. I’ve felt the weight of spaces that weren’t designed with people like me in mind. But I’ve also experienced the joy of finding places that welcome everyBODY, where comfort, adventure, and luxury aren’t gatekept, but shared.
I believe that travel should be accessible, affirming, and deeply enriching for everyone, regardless of size, background, or ability. That’s why I created Nimetosha Travel Advisors, not just as a travel company, but as a movement. A space where travelers can see themselves reflected in the experiences we curate. Where they don’t have to ask, Will I fit? Will I be welcomed? Because the answer will always be yes.
At Nimetosha Travel Advisors, we go beyond just planning trips. We create meaningful, immersive experiences that center both the traveler and the communities we visit. We partner with brands and destinations that align with our values, ensuring that the joy of travel is truly inclusive.
Because you are enough. You always have been. And the world is yours to explore.
